Synopsis

Bulan Balen is a theatre performance that combines acting and object manipulation games. Tells the story of Kul and Bot, a husband and wife who work as travelling household equipment sellers. In doing their work, they sometimes reminisce about their past when they were stage stars.

Bulan Balen is played by Ricky Setiawan as Kul, and Tita Dian Wulansari as Bot. Supported by Farindo Reska Djenar (musician) who also plays Kid, and Arfian Yustirianto as Stage Manager.

This performance uses a mixture of Indonesian and Javanese languages.

Ricky Setiawan, a theatre actor who likes to mix up various performance conventions. The owner of hands that can't stand still and cleverly mixes music in simplicity.

Tita Dian Wulansari, theatre actor who can also dance. His experience in the creative process with a number of arts groups makes her flexible enough to play in various performance genres.

Arfian Yustirianto, graphic designer who often collaborates with performance artists. Occasionally supports performances as an extra.

Farindo Reska Djenar, a young musician who loves exploring new possibilities in music. Experience working on music for various theatre and dance performances.
