Foolish Doom
Description

Target Audience: All ages

Duration: 60 minutes

Synopsis

Finally, it’s about time! An all-powerful wizard who will face the climate crisis and save the world? We’ve been waiting long enough for that, haven’t we?

With physical theatre, object-puppetry and live music, Foolish Doom offers an antidote to today’s climate of “doom”, inviting the audience to hope.

The great wizard Burnhart and his loyal companion Pippa come to Earth with a lofty ambition: to save the world! When they arrive, they find an epic mess and a cacophony of conflicting human voices, proclaiming both enchanting solutions and disastrous dystopias. Will the wizard and Pippa find a way to make sense of it all?

With razor-sharp wit and a healthy dose of positive energy, Foolish Doom reminds us that real change begins when we recognise the power we each hold.
