BLOCK THEATRE WORKSHOP

What can an empty wooden block become in your imagination?

A house, a person, a forest, a strange creature—or perhaps something that does not have a name yet.

Together with KO-KOO-MO from Finland, Block Theatre Workshop invites participants to discover the endless possibilities hidden inside simple wooden blocks.

In Block Theatre, there are no fixed characters and no single story to follow. Instead, imagination becomes the starting point. By arranging, stacking, balancing, moving, and sculpting space with wooden blocks, participants are invited to create their own characters, landscapes, situations, stories, and dreams.

A block can become one thing and, just a moment later, transform into something completely different. What happens next is up to you.

This intimate workshop welcomes children, young people, and adults to play and create together—discovering how very simple objects can open the door to many different worlds.

Come with your imagination. The blocks are waiting.
